The Annual Hotel Conference (AHC) took place this year on the 10th and 11th of October 2018 at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate Hotel. The AHC is known for being one of the the UK’s leading conference for hoteliers and all of those involved in the hotel trade. It brings together people who own and operate individual hotels and boutique hotels, all the way through to branded hotels, hotel managers and hotel operators.
As a key technology partner for a host of different hotels located throughout the UK and Europe, members of our team made their way to Manchester this year to listen and talk to key players in the industry. We were there to better understand their frustrations and where they saw their biggest challenges over the coming year. It was also a superb opportunity to meet with a range of hoteliers who we have been working with over the last year, as well as a host of others.
The feedback from the team has been superb, with excellent educational and practical knowledge and advice being provided by some leading names in the hotel industry. Of particular interest was the discussion around how innovations in technology can help grow hotel businesses, but topics ranged from hotel finance all the way through to Brexit, asset management and benchmarking methods for hotels.
