Working with our hotel and hospitality customers, our aim is to always provide distraction-free, reliable technology services that are backed up by excellent customer service. Customer service that we know our hospitality customers will recognise and appreciate.
Being a Gold sponsor of HOSPA (the hospitality finance, revenue and IT professional trade body) gives us the opportunity to give back to the industry that provides us with so much. As an association, HOSPA helps Finance, Revenue Management and IT professionals in the hospitality industry develop their careers, network with colleagues and keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
Our focus this year was on cyber security, which is obviously a hot topic for hotels, many of whom are at the forefront when it comes to cyber attacks as they hold a great deal of valuable information about their guests that in the wrong hands could prove costly. At HOSPACE, we ran a cyber security workshop that provided delegates with practical information and advice about how they could protect their hotels, before demonstrating how we helped Doubletree by Hilton in Cheltenham protect their revenue and reputation.
We backed up our theme with a cyclone game that stole the show, an image of which you can see below. Contestants were challenged to collect as many orange balls (threats) in a sea of black balls (legitimate Internet traffic) within 40 seconds. Competition was rife, with our eventual winner catching 28 orange balls in the allotted time.
We look forward to continuing our support of HOSPA in 2018 and beyond.
