The 2018 IT Service & Support Awards were held at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham on Tuesday 13th March and we were proud to be attending as finalists in the fiercely competitive “Best Small Managed Service Provider” category.
This is the first and only award we have ever gone for as we have traditionally never been an organisation that has sought the limelight, instead preferring to be a trusted sidekick to our true heroes, our customers. This year was different though as we thought that it was time that our team, who work incredibly hard supporting our customers with the technology needs 24×7, got some recognition that not only were their efforts greatly appreciated, but that they were proven by the leading service desk body to be doing a superb job too.
Having made it through the SDI’s 3 very tough assessment rounds, we were incredibly honoured to be announced as finalists for this year’s Best Small MSP Award.
The IT Service and Support awards are the IT Industry’s most prestigious event and they have been designed to celebrate and reward the outstanding achievements of service desk professionals and teams for the contribution they make to the success of their organisations. Other finalists included household names likes Waitrose, Sky Betting and Boeing Defence.
Sadly we missed out on the big prize this year, but we recognised that the standards were incredibly high. Suffice to say, we were incredibly proud to have been recognised by the SDI for our team’s dedication to our customers, our following of service desk best practise and our striving for continuous improvement through the use of effective tools and training.
